About Originally from New Orleans, where I gained an appreciation for good food. I had experience in food and beverage working in hotels and restaurants, as well some professional training. I had a varied career beyond the food business. The Woodlands is a 40 year old, world-class, high-quality "Master Planned" community of about 100,000 residents, 30 miles north of Houston. The area is growing rapidly, with many exciting new restaurants and a wide variety of foods and cultures. My wife and I enjoy cooking and entertaining, as well as dining out often. I generally like preparing Creole and Cajun dishes, but enjoy cooking a broad range of foods from Texas BBQ to Asian and Indian.
